Hello there! I'm Gorik, the human behind Double Frame. Think of it as my creative playground, where photography, film, and 3D/VFX collide in (mostly) happy accidents. I've been on a bit of a visual adventure, from childhood camera escapades to wrangling 3D models & animation, and even sneaking some 'invisible' VFX into a feature film. Turns out, all those random skills actually play surprisingly well together.

So, why 'Double Frame'? It's a nod to a VFX technique that slows down footage for that extra bit of cinematic magic. If you're looking for someone who can juggle pixels, light, and stories with a healthy dose of 'wait, that actually worked?', then let's make something happen!

Photos & videos that show the real, authentic emotions felt by both musicians when they're creating something, and the audience enjoying it.

    Sports.

I enjoy going to sport events and capturing the highlights and build ups during games. Whether it's taking pictures of baseball players hitting a curve ball in the scorching sun or filming adrenaline filled hockey players in an icey cold arena, you name it, I'll capture it.

Looking for an indie vfx generalist for your production? Someone who can help you with “invisible” vfx, paint outs, rotoscoping, or more complicated 2D/3D workflow and compositing?

We have a broad experience working with tools such as Blender & Fusion applying vfx for social media, short films & feature films.

 FAQs

  • No, although music, festivals & sports are a main focus, I am also open for other events if you are looking for a photographer or videographer.

  • No wedding or portrait photography unfortunately (except maybe for close friends ;) ).

  • Of course! If you have some footage sitting around but no idea what to do with it, don’t hesitate to reach out.

  • Although vfx often is considered as part of post-production, it’s best to involve a vfx artist or supervisor before filming since this can make the life of the vfx artist al lot easier during post-production.
